We are building a platform for car enthusiasts. We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Mobile Developer to add to our engineering team. You have 5+ years working as a mid to senior level engineer developing robust consumer facing applications with today's leading tech stack. You have a portfolio of shipping apps, love to push new code daily and want a chance to disrupt the automotive industry.
Job Description
You're eager to work for an early stage, venture-backed brand and are looking to take on an array of responsibilities. To really fit in you're also an automotive enthusiast who wants their passion to also be their day job.
Responsibilities:
• Lead development of our first native mobile apps
• Collaborate with the design and product team to build groundbreaking applications and rapidly iterate features for our existing platform
• Work along side our lead engineer to maintain and scale back-end infrastructure
• Participate in all aspects of the agile development process, including scoping, detailed design, effort estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and support
• Write code at every level - from the UI, to the backend services, to the databases and tools
• Document your work and provide peer feedback
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to deliver web-based services that meet business requirements
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and other web standards
• Has shipped mobile apps using Objective-C/Swift, Java, or React Mobile
• Proficient with MongoDB or strong MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS including Route53, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2 Container Service or Google Compute Engine/Container Engine
• Hands-on experience with React, Mithral, and/or AngularJS
