Introduction

We are seeking a Manager, Global Training Delivery - Crushing and Screening to join our Crushing & Screening (C&S) Training / Metso Academy team. You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent, safe, and high quality global delivery of C&S technical training through a combination of hands on instruction and structured leadership of a global trainer network. Your role plays a crucial part in closing technical capability gaps in complex mobile Crushing & Screening technologies, strengthening trainer performance, and improving stakeholder satisfaction across regions.

In this position, you will report to the Manager, Training Operations.

This position is primarily based within the NCA region (USA, Canada, or Mexico) and offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, it requires frequent international travel (approximately 50-70%) across North America and globally. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be eligible to obtain all required travel visas to support global training activities.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of technical training professionals and subject matter experts dedicated to delivering world class Crushing & Screening training across global regions. The team strives to build technical capabilities, support safe operations, and ensure training excellence for both internal teams and customers.
We are currently strengthening instructor competence, addressing technical skill gaps in complex mobile C&S applications, and improving global training planning, scheduling, and delivery consistency.
The team works closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Service, Technical Support, and Training operations, while also managing a Flex Trainer pool to support demand peaks and specialized training topics. Our culture emphasizes safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement, with team members located across multiple global regions.

What you'll do

Deliver high priority Crushing & Screening technical trainings globally, acting as a senior technical authority and role model for safety, quality, and instructional standards.
Lead and closely manage a global team of trainers, including coaching, structured follow ups, performance tracking, and development planning.
Oversee instructor scheduling and capacity planning to ensure reliable, on time global training delivery.
Maintain and develop the trainer competence matrix and individual development plans, with a strong focus on technical ramp up.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage the Flex Trainer pool to support demand peaks and specialized training needs.
Ensure training delivery aligns with Metso Academy standards, EHS requirements, and budget guidelines.
Proactively identify and close technical capability gaps, particularly in mobile Crushing & Screening technologies.
Balance hands on training delivery and people leadership, with an initial focus of approximately 70% delivery and 30% team management.

Who you are

You bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Crushing & Screening, heavy industrial equipment, or closely related technical fields.
You have proven leadership and people management experience, with a hands on approach to coaching and development.
You communicate effectively across cultures and functions in a global, matrix organization.
You are comfortable with frequent international travel and working across multiple regions and time zones.
You lead by example with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
You possess excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities.
Fluent English is required; Spanish is preferred, with Portuguese or additional languages considered an asset (nice to have).

What's in it for you

An inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life. Minerals and metals are the backbone of essential functions in the modern world. However, there's a pressing need for more sustainable solutions to collect and process them. At Metso, you get to be part of transforming the industry and making a positive change.
Wellbeing and safety - Benefit from occupational healthcare, generous benefits plan, healthy living rewards, mental well-being services, and engagement surveys.
Compensation and rewards - Global incentive program tied to business and performance targets.
Hybrid working possibilities - While we are big advocates of meeting and collaborating in person, we believe in fostering a flexible work environment.
A thriving culture - We are committed to developing an inclusive culture that enables everyone to do their best and reach their full potential. A culture that is courageous, compelling, and caring, and unites our people to build a sustainable future together.
Extensive learning opportunities - Ongoing growth dialogues, internal mobility, mentoring programs, education assistance, ambitious projects, and global opportunities.
Worldwide support - Leverage our network of peers across the world, offering valuable assistance. We get things done together, through open and honest communication.
