JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Wireless Electrical Engineer position will primarily be responsible for the development of wireless modules and interfaces implemented within a Magnetic Resonance (MR) system. The candidate will leverage knowledge of industry standard wireless protocols, digital communication standards, circuit board design process to ensure quality design output.
"• Assess commercially available wireless solutions for implementation within MR designs, with focus on link reliability, power, and platforming/lifecycle.
• Define and execute testing to evaluate wireless concepts in challenging RF environments.
• Drive schematic capture for circuit boards implementing associated wireless designs and high speed interfaces.
• Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction.
• Lend technical expertise to Installed Base teams to support design fixes and customer
Escalations.
• Engaging in all phases of new product introduction: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support."
