Job Summary:
Value Driven Solutions is a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer that engineers and produces precision-engineered hardware. They are seeking an IT Generalist who will provide desktop and end-user support, maintain hardware and accounts, and assist with networking and cybersecurity tasks in an ITAR-controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, AV, and software.
• Image, deploy, and maintain end-user hardware; manage user onboarding and offboarding.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and email within Active Directory / Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, basic server, and peripheral issues; escalate as needed.
• Support cybersecurity hygiene—patching, endpoint protection, MFA, and access controls—per NIST 800-171 / CMMC practices.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and the support ticket queue.
• Assist with conference-room, shop-floor, and lab technology setups.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in IT.
• 2+ years of help-desk or desktop-support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Strong customer-service orientation and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on-site and lift / move standard IT equipment.
Preferred:
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or regulated (ITAR/defense) environment.
• Exposure to cybersecurity compliance practices.
