Position Overview

The Marketing Operations team supports KeyBank's Marketing Department by enabling the effective execution of marketing programs across all lines of business and client segments. The Marketing Project Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for managing the end-to-end trafficking of creative and digital projects - including print, digital (key.com), and other formats - from initial request through final delivery. This role ensures all materials meet brand standards, compliance requirements, and line-of-business objectives, working closely with internal creative and production teams throughout the process.

Essential Job Functions

  • Receive, review, and intake project requests submitted through Workfront; confirm all required specifications are present and resolve any information gaps before work begins
  • Assign projects to the appropriate internal resources, including design, copywriting, key.com content development, based on project scope and requirements
  • Traffic and manage creative and digital projects from request to completion, ensuring timely delivery across all channels and formats
  • Monitor project progress, proactively address issues, and escalate risks as needed to keep work on track
  • Ensure all required compliance approvals are obtained prior to project completion
  • Confirm that project scope and deliverables align with stated business objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, creative services, product management, lines of business, and compliance
  • Follow established project management processes while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and increase team efficiency
  • Contribute to a team culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Actively participate in team meetings and project status calls and contribute to projects led by others

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of professional experience in an advertising agency, marketing project management, or a related field

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of traditional and digital creative development processes, with an understanding of brand and compliance standards
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and cross-functional partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality work efficiently and on time
  • Effective problem-solving skills with sound judgment on when to escalate issues

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
