Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted and operational areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations through accurate reports and timely communication with designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
