As the Area Product Owner for Credentials in the Trust and Security Portfolio, you lead the strategy and delivery of device-based, knowledge-based, and FIDO credentials that make authentication simple, consistent, and secure across channels. You partner with engineering and design to shape reusable services and signals that reduce onboarding friction for product teams and improve customer experiences. You collaborate with vendors and internal partners to manage roadmaps, contracts, and performance, ensuring solutions scale reliably and responsibly. You champion customer trust, setting clear outcomes and using data to guide continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the Credentials team, and 3 scrum teams responsible for maintenance and expansion of existing identification credentials and design and delivery of new tools.
  • Develop a plan to deliver new and enhanced credentials to meet the strong credential needs of the Trust Framework.
  • Work with Risk Strategy to enhance credentials to improve outcomes
  • Manage vendor relationships including Contract terms and pricing.
  • Consult with Experience Area Products and the design team on customer delivery methods to improve outcomes.
  • Oversee teams' execution of agile framework including prioritization of APG initiatives, inbound requests, backlog health, testing, readiness, and production validation.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Experience with Product feature development and delivery in Cloud environments.
  • Understanding of NIST and FIDO Standards as they impact credential structure, delivery and customer behavior.
  • Exhibited ability to work across the Portfolio to develop and execute complex strategies, ability to think strategically, innovate and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Performed a similar role within a financial institution or payment services provider, or a vendor operating in the customer identity and authentication space.
  • 8+ years' experience of designing and developing authentication, fraud, and security controls for Digital and non-digital channels
  • A high degree of technological awareness (e.g., of developments in mobile banking apps, and potential attack vectors), proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ability to proactively identify issues
  • Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience influencing resources that are geographically distributed and culturally diverse
  • Proven ability to resolve conflict, make complex decisions based on experience, analysis, and judgment, ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
  • Experience with microservices, API's, cloud technologies and UI's
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field of study
