Job description

Mobile Application Developer
Contract Length: 6 months+
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to support the rapid development of a complex, business-critical mobile application. This is a high-priority engagement requiring a strong contributor who can deliver high-quality, scalable features on time, proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, and thrive in a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
The developer will work closely with team leads, programmers, analysts, and project managers to analyze requirements, design application functionality, develop features, and validate deliverables to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. This role operates under general supervision, with moderate latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate complex business and technical requirements into effective mobile solutions
  • Strong background in application design, including UI/UX layout and functional architecture
  • Proven experience delivering mobile applications within Agile development environments, adhering to sprint timelines and deliverables
  • Hands-on expertise in unit testing and validating code quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Solid track record of troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application defects and performance issues
  • Deep experience building mobile applications using Xamarin, with working knowledge of .NET MAUI
  • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GitLab) and modern development workflows
  • Experience working across both Agile and traditional (Waterfall) project environments
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices, ensuring applications meet required compliance guidelines
