Job Summary:
ASSA ABLOY Group is a global leader in access solutions, seeking an Android Developer to play a pivotal role in the development of new product lines. The role involves developing mobile applications, focusing on back-end programming, and collaborating with various development teams to ensure the end-to-end capabilities of product lines.
Responsibilities:
• Play a pivotal role in the development of our new product lines.
• Develop mobile applications with a focus on back-end programming to configure and manage hardware devices using newly developed proprietary Software Development Kits (SDKs).
• Work closely with onshore and offshore software, firmware and hardware development teams.
• Develop integration and test mobile applications against newly developed proprietary Software Development Kits (SDKs).
• Verify the end-to-end capabilities of our product lines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study
• 3 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving mobile development work experience
• 3 years of experience developing mobile applications in Kotlin or Java for Android
• 3 years of experience with Jenkins
• 3 years of experience with Maven
• 3 years of experience with GitHub, GitLab or a similar build and development tool
• 3 years of experience developing RESTful SDKs or APIs
• 3 years of experience with SQL databases
• 3 years of experience working in SCRUM teams
• 3 years of experience developing software using Agile methodologies
• Telecommuting or hybrid work arrangements are not permitted; required to work from the office every day
