Rate: 65 to 70 CAD
Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Role Summary: NearSource is seeking a Mobile UX/UI Designer (AI-Powered Product Experience) to support the evolution of a mobile platform used across multiple product areas. This role is responsible for delivering user-centered mobile experiences, scaling design systems, and supporting the development of AI-powered capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams to drive high-quality design execution across the mobile ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Feature Design

  • Design and deliver mobile product features aligned with product roadmap objectives.
  • Translate business and user requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Produce detailed design specifications to support engineering implementation.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of onboarding, navigation, workflows, and integrated product experiences.
  • Support design validation, usability improvements, and iterative feature refinement.

AI-Powered Experiences

  • Execute design initiatives supporting mobile AI assistant capabilities, including chat, voice, and vision-based experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate AI-driven workflows across the platform.
  • Contribute to interaction patterns, design frameworks, and usability standards for intelligent product experiences.

Design System & Component Architecture

  • Maintain and evolve scalable mobile design systems and component libraries.
  • Develop and refine reusable UI components, patterns, and page-level structures.

User Experience Optimization
