Job Description
What You'll Do: Delivery Driver Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver - Non CDL, you'll start and end each shift at our Amazon warehouse located at 11311 N Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77064.
- Load your delivery vehicle with pre-sorted Amazon packages at the warehouse each morning
- Follow a GPS-navigated delivery route, making 150+ stops per day to homes, apartments, businesses, garages, mobile parks, and more
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently, getting in and out of the van at each stop regardless of the weather conditions
- Carry and handle a variety of packages, up to 50 lbs.
- Walk up flights of stairs as needed to complete deliveries
- Use a company-provided phone and routing app to navigate your delivery route
- Operate your Amazon-branded delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and equipment guidelines at all times
- Begin with shorter "Nursery Routes" (typically 2-3 weeks) as you build toward a full delivery route
- Represent RAZ Services LLC with professionalism and a positive attitude in every neighborhood you serve
Schedule: Part-time | 2-3 days per week
Qualifications
Delivery Driver Requirements - No CDL Required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license (Texas state DL preferred, but not required; Non CDL license accepted)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
- Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must maintain a safe driving record and follow all applicable traffic laws
- Preferred: Prior experience with an Amazon DSP partner (not required)
