Job Title: Manager, M&A

Business Unit: Xpand

Reports To: Director, M&A

Location: North Carolina or Ohio (Hybrid)

Role Type: Salary Full-Time

Xpand, a Linville Team Partners company, is seeking a Manager to join their M&A team. This position will play a vital role with account management and business development responsibilities on our buy-side advisory team. This role will be the face of Xpand to strategic buyers; originating, presenting, and negotiating opportunities directly. The ability to communicate mandates from our clients internally and externally will be key.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify acquisition opportunities that align with client’s criteria
  • Manage multiple buy-side client relationships within 1-2 industries
  • Communicate with internal and external teams on their deal pipelines
  • Effectively manage and lead 1-3 direct reports
  • Review markets across the country utilizing various research tools
  • Network with business owners through calls, emails, and text messages
  • Execute and manage prospecting campaigns
  • Gather due diligence information from business owners
  • Assist in underwriting potential acquisitions
Candidate Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working in business development, corporate development, or buy-side investment banking
  • Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and personable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple projects
