Job description

Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mainframe MMIS QA/Tester to provide Quality Assurance duties for various Medicaid systems projects. The role involves collaborating with project teams to test coding changes, create test scenarios, analyze results, and support user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities:
• WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH PROJECT TEAM TO TEST CODING CHANGES.
• DUTIES INCLUDE CREATION OF TEST SCENARIOS, RUNNING OF TESTS, ANALYSIS OF TEST RESULTS, RESOLUTION OF DIFFERENCES IN ACTUAL AND EXPECTED TEST RESULTS AND WORKING WITH SCDHHS TO SUPPORT USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING.
• COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN COMMUNICATION.
• HELP WITH BUSINESS, PROCESS AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AND PROVIDE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE AS NEEDED.
• WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH CLEMSON STAFF AND OTHER CONTRACTED STAFF.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years of experience with Mainframe
• 4+ years of experience with Cobol
• 4+ years of experience with JCL
• 4+ years of experience creating and executing test scenarios
• 4+ years of experience with healthcare claims processing
• Previous experience in health care related information technology, insurance information technology, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or social services eligibility is absolutely required.
• This position requires excellent communications skills including effective oral and written communication.
Preferred:
• Experience with Medicaid
• Experience with Serena Changeman
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with technical documentation
• Experience with CA-ADS
