Physical Therapy Specialist / Rehabilitation Expert
Location: Bremerton, Washington
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts
Make a Difference as a Physical Therapist in Bremerton, WA (Hospital Setting)
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist eager to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence? We're seeking an experienced PT to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Bremerton, Washington, where you'll play a vital role in providing care for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and enhance their overall quality of life.
What You'll Do
Conduct Patient Assessments
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions, review medical histories, and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to meet each patient's specific needs.
Implement Therapeutic Interventions
  • Utilize a variety of therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-assisted treatments to improve strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
Monitor Patient Progress
  • Regularly track patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery and achievement of rehabilitation goals.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care within the hospital setting.
Guide and Educate Patients and Caregivers
  • Offer education on home exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention to help patients maintain progress and prevent future setbacks.
Promote Wellness and Mobility
  • Advocate for physical activity, early mobilization, and preventative care to improve patient outcomes and enhance overall well-being.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
Licensure & Certification:
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
  • Certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro) are a plus
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and healthcare teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
