Job description

Major League Baseball is seeking a Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics based in its New York City headquarters. This role will support MLB's growing marketing analytics and attribution capabilities across the League and Clubs, with a primary focus on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), campaign analytics, audience measurement, and broader marketing performance reporting. The position will help scale adoption of marketing measurement capabilities, support strategic decision-making, and improve how marketing effectiveness is measured across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, experience working across marketing analytics and performance measurement workflows, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the continued scaling and operationalization of MLB's Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) capabilities across Clubs and League stakeholders
  • Support broader marketing measurement initiatives spanning attribution, campaign analytics, audience analytics, and performance reporting
  • Help drive forward-looking attribution and measurement initiatives aimed at better understanding fan engagement, campaign effectiveness, and marketing performance trends
  • Help support scenario planning, optimization, and testing initiatives across marketing channels and campaigns
  • Support survey design and measurement initiatives, including control/exposed studies aimed at evaluating marketing effectiveness and campaign impact
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of marketing analytics workflows, tooling, and reporting infrastructure
  • Partner cross-functionally on measurement strategy, tagging, tracking, and operational initiatives
  • Create presentations, reporting, and data visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Effectively build relationships and collaborate with team members from Clubs and the League Office on projects and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media analytics, attribution, or related analytical and measurement-focused functions
  • Deep understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) concepts, workflows, and applications
  • Experience working across campaign measurement, attribution, audience analytics, and marketing performance reporting
  • Familiarity with paid media ecosystems, digital marketing workflows, and broader MarTech infrastructure
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to work across large and complex datasets
  • Experience working with analytics platforms such as Adobe preferred
  • Understanding of tagging, tracking, and marketing measurement methodologies preferred
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with baseball and macro trends within the sports and entertainment industry

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 (Base Salary + Bonus)
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
