SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the mixing room of the paint line.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working within the paint line/mixing room
  • Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality
  • Control paint mixing/changeovers
  • Inventory control
  • Keep the paint mixing room neat and clean
  • 6S of area
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as dual-action sanders and paint sprayers
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using sealants, paint strippers, and corrosion-preventive chemicals and use protective equipment as required
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • Maintain and follow all training requirements
  • Understand and follow all quality, safety, and environmental processes and procedures
  • Follow all recycling programs
  • Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
