Job description

The Division for Change and Empowerment at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to begin in July 2026. This is a full-time position. Applicants must have a PhD in disciplines related to educational equity, or a closely related field with an emphasis on mixed methods research by date of appointment.

For best consideration, all application materials must be received by July 15, 2026.The responsibilities of this position will be to lead data collection and analysis efforts on current research projects, climate assessments, and future grant-funded program-related research projects. Candidate will also engage in scholarship activities (publishing and presenting at conferences) and mentor undergraduate students in education research. It will include working collaboratively with PIs and leadership and assisting with data collection and future grant program logistics

The position will also assist with supporting the coordination and assessment of Critical Analyses of U.S. and Global Cultures courses.
