Mixed In Key is a software tool used by DJs and music producers to analyze tracks and determine their musical key, aiding in harmonic mixing. DJs, on the other hand, are performers who select and mix music live for audiences. While Mixed In Key helps DJs prepare their sets, a DJ's role involves live performance skills like beatmatching and crowd engagement. Both roles are integral to the DJing industry but serve different functions: one is a technical tool, the other a performer.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Full-Time or Part-Time | Compton, CA | $22–35/hour | Independent Veterinary Hospital

Love surgery? So do we.

We're looking for an experienced California RVT who enjoys surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry to join our small, independent veterinary hospital.

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, we're flexible and would love to find the right fit.

We're not corporate. We don't have production quotas or a script for every conversation. We just believe in practicing good medicine, taking care of our patients, treating each other with respect, and providing the kind of care we'd want for our own pets.

What you'll be doing

If your favorite place in the hospital is the surgery suite, you'll feel right at home here.

You'll play a key role in:

Anesthesia induction and monitoring

Surgical nursing and patient care

IV catheter placement

Dentistry and dental radiographs

Surgical preparation and recovery

Laboratory work

Client education

Helping mentor our veterinary assistants

Our surgery schedule includes routine spays and neuters, dental procedures, mass removals, and a variety of soft tissue surgeries, with the occasional emergency mixed in. We value RVTs who take pride in providing safe anesthesia and exceptional patient care from admission through recovery.

We're looking for someone who:

Is a California Registered Veterinary Technician

Is confident monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgery

Enjoys dentistry and dental radiographs

Stays calm and organized during busy surgery days

Communicates well with clients and coworkers

Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

Is kind, dependable, and has a good sense of humor

Speaks Spanish (a plus, but not required)

What we offer

$22–35/hour depending on experience

Full-time or part-time opportunities

Health insurance (full-time eligible)

401(k) with employer match

Continuing education support

Weekly paid CE time

Uniform allowance

Employee pet discounts

We're a small hospital, which means your ideas matter, your work is noticed, and you're never just another employee number.

If you're looking for a place where you can use your RVT skills every day, work closely with an experienced doctor, and provide excellent surgical and nursing care, we'd love to hear from you.

When you apply, please include a few sentences telling us what you enjoy most about being an RVT. We read every application and would love to get to know you beyond your resume.
