American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier, local disaster restoration and mitigation company in Sumner, WA to hire a full-time Mitigation Technician. In this active, high-impact role, you will perform water, fire, and environmental damage mitigation, operate specialized restoration equipment, assist with selective demolition, and set up structural drying systems. If you have a clean driving record, strong physical stamina, and a commitment to quality job-site cleanup, let's get you on the team!
Description for Mitigation Technician:
  • Perform on-site water, fire, smoke, mold, and environmental damage mitigation services.
  • Safely operate specialized mitigation tools, air movers, dehumidifiers, and extraction equipment.
  • Assist with controlled demolition, structural drying, debris removal, containment setup, and detailed job-site cleanup.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, wear proper protective equipment (PPE), and maintain quality standards on all property restoration projects.
  • Safely drive company service vehicles to and from job sites across the regional area as assigned.
Details for Mitigation Technician:
  • Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour starting base wage.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Enjoy a consistent weekday core routine with weekends off!).
  • Shift Hours: Full-Time Day Shift.
  • Location: Sumner, WA & Regional Job Sites.
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path offering long-term career growth.
Requirements for Mitigation Technician:
  • Prior experience in property mitigation, disaster restoration, construction demolition, or remediation preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record strictly required (driving company vehicles is required).
  • Abatement certifications (AHERA/Asbestos/Lead/Mold) are highly valued and required for specific specialized roles.
