Skilled welding position responsible for laying out, fitting, cutting, and welding fabricated components used in structural forms, machinery frames, shelving, and related products. The role requires precision TIG and MIG welding on thin aluminum extrusions.

• Cut aluminum or plastic to required lengths using tools such as radial and miter saws.

• Deburr aluminum using an electric sander.

• Shape aluminum edges and punch holes according to work-order specifications.

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin aluminum extrusions.

• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, procedures, and technical documents.

• Develop prototype samples to support engineering projects.
