Medical Receptionist - Shrewsbury, NJ (Onsite) - Contract - Mon-Fri, 07:15am-06:00pm Rotating Hours + 1-2 Saturdays Per Month - $21.00 Per HR

Location: Shrewsbury, NJ (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract - Mon-Fri, 07:15am-06:00pm Rotating Hours + 1-2 Saturdays Per Month
Compensation:
Pay Range: $21.00 Per HR
Summary:
• We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join a busy and growing specialty medical practice in Shrewsbury, NJ.
• This is a great opportunity for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• The Medical Receptionist will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients and will play an important role in creating a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Enter and update patient demographic information in the electronic medical record
• Pull, organize, and file medical charts and records
• Answer phones and assist patients with general questions
• Support physicians, office management, and other staff as needed
• Maintain a professional and organized front-desk environment
• Provide excellent customer service to patients of all ages
Qualifications:
• Previous medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical insurance and insurance verification is a plus
• Experience with Epic or another electronic medical record system is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
