Job description

A day in the life:

As a Senior Linux Systems Administrator, you will join an operations support team responsible for dataflow implementation including transitions from legacy to modern systems and monitoring of implemented data flows.  For this position, you should be able to work independently, learn new tasks over time and can expect to: 

  • Run security scans
  • Perform Linux system administration
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
  • Work with Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
  • Use Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
  • Provision virtual machine resources
  • Use TPAM for account management
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned outages           
What you bring to the table:
  • Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Salary Range:   
  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation.  Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself. 
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the  projected pay range for this position is:  $140,000 - $200,000.
