Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Pay: $80 per hour
Shifts: Days 7AM - 7PM
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic and collaborative team in Santa Fe, NM. This is a travel assignment that offers the opportunity to work in a variety of units including Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, ICU, and ED. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Float
  • Obtain and record initial patient assessment, establish priorities according to age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement a measurable and individualized plan of care
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluations
  • Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
  • Evaluate the plan of care and perform Point of Care testing procedures
  • Utilize effective communication strategies and delegate work appropriately
  • Coordinate team assignments and make necessary adjustments
  • Participate in orientation of new staff/students and function as a resource for visitors, physicians, and staff
  • Promote a positive work environment and contribute to unit and organizational goals
  • Exhibit behaviors that create high levels of patient/customer satisfaction and support the hospital's mission
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Float
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • TNCC Certification
  • CPI/De-Escalation (CPIDE)
  • NIH Certification
  • BLS Certification from AHA
  • ACLS Certification from AHA
  • PALS Certification from AHA
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
  • Additional certifications may be required based on units where floated
