Description
Nüvitek is seeking a Director of Mission Enablement to lead and oversee our Department of War (DOW), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Justice (DOJ) mission portfolios. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring that Nüvitek's solutions are tightly aligned to agency mission priorities, operational needs, and long-term strategic objectives.
The Director of Mission Enablement will serve as a senior-facing representative of Nüvitek, engaging with government executives to understand mission challenges and align our capabilities, platforms, and functional frameworks, including AI-enabled solutions, to deliver measurable mission outcomes.
This role requires a leader who understands federal mission environments, can translate complex operational needs into technology- and AI-enabled solutions, and can operate credibly at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities
Mission Alignment and Strategy
  • Oversee Nuvitek's mission-focused work within DOW, DHS, and DOJ portfolios
  • Align Nuvitek solutions, platforms, functional frameworks, and AI capabilities to agency mission priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve mission outcomes through modernization, automation, and AI enablement
  • Provide strategic guidance on how digital, data, and AI solutions support agency objectives and operational effectiveness

Executive Government Engagement
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government leadership
  • Engage program executives, mission owners, and operational stakeholders on mission challenges and modernization goals
  • Participate in strategic discussions related to digital transformation, data, and AI adoption
  • Represent Nuvitek as a mission-focused, forward-leaning partner that responsibly leverages AI

Solution Enablement, AI, and Integration
  • Translate mission requirements into actionable solution strategies, including AI-supported workflows and decision support
  • Promote responsible AI adoption to improve efficiency, insight, and mission performance
  • Guide internal teams on mission context, agency dynamics, and appropriate AI use cases
  • Support integration of low-code platforms, AI capabilities, data services, and mission systems in alignment with federal policy and governance

Portfolio Oversight and Coordination
  • Maintain visibility into mission program performance, outcomes, and customer satisfaction
  • Identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities within assigned mission portfolios
  • Collaborate across growth, account, and operational teams to ensure unified mission and AI strategy
  • Support long-term portfolio health and expansion through innovation and mission-aligned solutions

Reporting and Strategic Insight
  • Provide executive-level reporting on mission portfolio status, priorities, and performance
  • Deliver insights on agency trends, policy shifts, and AI-related modernization initiatives
  • Advise the CGO and executive leadership on mission positioning, emerging needs, and AI-driven opportunity areas within DOW, DHS, and DOJ.

Qualifications
  • 10 to 15+ years of experience supporting federal agencies in mission, modernization, or digital transformation roles

• Experience working within or alongside DOW, DHS, DOJ, or similar federal mission environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior government leadership
• Strong understanding of federal operating models, compliance environments, and responsible AI considerations
• Experience aligning technology and AI solutions to operational mission outcomes
• Executive presence with strong strategic communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
