Job description

Bank Owned Life Insurance Producer
Department: Insurance & Financial Services
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Remote - USA
Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly specialized BOLI/COLI Producer to join our team. This is a permanent, fully remote position open to candidates across the country. We're looking for a uniquely skilled individual with deep expertise in Bank-Owned and Corporate-Owned Life Insurance who can confidently manage complex sales cycles within the financial sector.
This is not your typical life insurance sales role. As a BOLI/COLI Producer, you'll be working with corporations-primarily financial institutions-to offer sophisticated life insurance funding solutions that help offset the costs of executive benefit programs such as Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs) and Deferred Compensation. This consultative sales process requires engagement with various departments, including Legal, Tax, and Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the sale of BOLI/COLI solutions to corporate clients, with a primary focus on financial institutions.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across Tax, Legal, and HR departments.
  • Navigate and manage extended sales cycles, typically ranging from 6 to 12 months, with a strong emphasis on pre-sale due diligence.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory environments surrounding both life insurance and the banking industry as it relates to BOLI/COLI.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships through trust and high-touch service.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A strong, existing book of business in BOLI/COLI or similarly complex financial product sales.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience with Corporate-Owned and Bank-Owned Life Insurance.
  • A solid understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting both banking and life insurance sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close intricate, high-value sales involving multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and highly capable of operating independently in a remote work environment.
