Job Description: Commercial Maintenance Tech/Building Engineer 

Commercial property management company is in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to be responsible for day-to-day general maintenance and operations of multiple commercial properties.

Job duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Complete daily preventative maintenance inspections of properties
  • Complete assigned Work Orders on a timely basis.
  • Work orders will require Skills in, but not Limited to: 
    • Grounds work/Basic Landscaping
    • Drywall repairs including Painting
    • Basic plumbing, Drain Clean out
    • Lighting and Basic electrical 
  • HVAC preventative maintenance and Filter Change outs

Manage Stock Inventory of Basic Maintenance Parts, Bulbs, Filters, amongst other items.

Ability to Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other misc issues.

Knowledge of Door, Lock, and Key Hardware and Assembly's.

Have a Basic knowledge and understanding of State and Local Safety Codes and Ordinance's. 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Commercial Maintenance in order to Monitor and review contractor
  • Ability to use work order system on a phone and computer, keeping accurate time records.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, walk on rooftops, and work outside regularly
  • Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies, which may require Evening and Weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and Driving record must qualify under Company insurance policy.
  • Ability to Pass background check.
