As a Mercer Votes Ambassador, you will be a vital link between the Mercer Votes Coalition and the broader Mercer community. As an ambassador, you will provide nonpartisan voting information and assist your peers with registering to vote and making their voting plans.
This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering civic participation. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with public speaking, as this role will involve classroom presentations and engagement at Mercer Votes tabling events and civic holiday programs.
Requirements:
Candidates should be current undergraduate, graduate, or professional students on Mercer's Macon or Atlanta campuses. Ideal candidates should have excellent verbal communication skills, the ability - Ambassadors may conduct class visits and deliver 10-15-minute presentations on to manage their time effectively, and a willingness to collaborate and engage with diverse community members.
