What is a mining safety manager?

Mining Safety Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and ensuring the health and safety of workers and operations at mining sites. They develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Their role also includes investigating incidents, providing safety training, and fostering a culture of safety among employees. Mining Safety Managers play a critical role in minimizing workplace hazards and preventing accidents in the mining industry.
