Job description

Overview

Turner Staffing Group is hiring Water Truck Drivers to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This role plays a key part in maintaining safe and efficient site conditions by controlling dust and supporting road maintenance across the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a water truck to control dust on haul roads, work areas, and around active equipment
  • Maintain proper moisture levels on roadways to ensure safe driving conditions for haul trucks and support equipment
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
  • Monitor water levels and refill as needed throughout the shift
  • Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or hazards immediately
  • Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators
  • Assist with general site support duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating a water truck or similar heavy equipment preferred
  • Valid driver's license required (CDL may be required depending on equipment)
  • MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
