Typical employers include mining companies and contractors in the resources sector.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a mining driver?

As a Mining Driver, your daily responsibilities center around safely operating haul trucks or other heavy vehicles to transport materials like ore, rock, and overburden within a mining site. You will conduct pre-operation vehicle inspections, follow detailed haul routes, adhere to mining safety protocols, and communicate regularly with dispatchers and other team members.
