Key responsibilities
- Perform data mining, data preparation, and reporting.
- Prepare and conduct analyses, studies, and needs or gap assessments.
- Evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of data, recommendations, and proposed solutions.
- Document and summarize analytical results.
- Develop and recommend solutions to customer problems.
- Prepare large datasets for analysis.
- Implement data models developed by other team members.
- Provide database support for customer solutions.
- Support senior data scientists in evaluating stakeholder requirements.
- Assist with specialized analytical subjects and research.
- Develop analytical reports based on data models and visualizations.
- Serve as a key member of the data-science project team.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, computer science, operations research, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in applied data-science research or big-data analytics.
