Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits' products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits' sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
Salary Range - $132,000 - $145,000
Job Function:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business. With a specific focus on the µCeramIQ Business Unit's projects, which require clear communication of their benefit and status to leadership.
  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Maintain a rolling capacity model that maps headcount, equipment, and third-party resources against program demand and growth forecasts
  • Define, implement, and govern BU-wide KPIs - covering delivery, cost, quality, and cycle time - through structured dashboards and review cadences.
  • Drive initiatives and standardized PM methodologies to eliminate waste, improve yield, and embed continuous improvement across the program lifecycle.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Manage project and program issues and risks mitigate impact to baseline
  • Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
  • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, ServiceNow, SmartSheet and Lucid Chart
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma concepts is a plus.
  • Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts
  • Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers
  • Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
