Minerals Mine Worker
Location: Battle Mountain, NV (89820)
Job Type: 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $32.00 / hr W2
About the Role
We are seeking a Minerals Mine Worker to support surface mining operations extracting crude materials such as barite and bentonite. In this role, you will operate heavy and mobile mining equipment while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate heavy and mobile mining production equipment in accordance with mine safety standards.
  • Maintenance & Support: Monitor equipment performance, perform routine preventative maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting in the mine environment.
  • Site Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally sound work area, reporting any operational deviations to mine management.
  • Teamwork: Maintain clear communication with coworkers and supervisors, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a mining, industrial, or heavy construction environment preferred.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and basic mechanical/preventative maintenance skills.
