This arrangement allows mining companies to access skilled labor for operations in locations far from major towns or cities. FIFO jobs are common in the mining industry, especially in regions like Australia and Canada, and typically involve jobs such as equipment operators, engineers, and support staff. Building strong communication with loved ones and participating in onsite wellness programs can also greatly improve the FIFO experience.
