Position Overview

All Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will work remotely from your home, bringing your expertise to our community health clinic based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Your primary focus will be to support individuals grappling with stress and mental health challenges by employing mindfulness-based interventions that foster resilience, personal growth, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress and improving their emotional health.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness approaches to suit individual cases.
  • Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, promoting enhanced self-awareness and emotional balance in their lives.
  • Lead engaging group workshops focusing on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, thereby creating a community of support among clients.
  • Integrate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions to effectively address a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness therapies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, including mindfulness interventions and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Engage in continuous personal mindfulness practices and professional development activities to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based therapies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At All Care Counseling Center, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other stress-related conditions. This role emphasizes a client-focused approach where each individual's unique experiences and backgrounds are respected and considered in their treatment plans. Your expertise in mindfulness will help clients navigate their paths to improved mental health and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Previous experience or coursework in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to integrate mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices to enhance client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling the creation of a supportive and tranquil therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
