The Opportunity
As a Project Engineer II on our PPE New Product Development (NPD) team, you'll lead the charge in bringing new safety solutions to life. You'll manage projects from concept through launch, working with talented engineers, designers, manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain experts.

What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple moderately complex PPE NPD projects, balancing priorities and schedules
  • Guide and motivate cross-functional global teams, providing technical direction and reviewing work
  • Develop and drive project schedules, facilitate meetings, and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Drive technical problem-solving-analyze data, balance objectives, and set product and project direction
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Suppliers to deliver high-performing, manufacturable products
  • Scrutinize designs for weaknesses and drive continuous improvement

What Tools You Bring
  • BS in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in product design, development, or project engineering
  • Proven track record delivering mass-produced products
  • Strong project management, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Broad engineering knowledge-materials, manufacturing, part costing, and specifications
  • Experience with 3D CAD, tolerance analysis, and test plan development
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Passion for safety and making a positive impact
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Experience with PPE, textiles, plastics, elastomers, biomechanics, or regulated products is a plus
