Industrial Millwright Mechanic
IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will provide millwright services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.
Responsibilities
ยท SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus.
ยท Rigging and signal person
ยท read and interpret blue prints
ยท Industrial maintenance and repair
ยท Knowledge of drives, gear boxes, couplings and precision alignment
ยท Operate aerial and powered fork truck lifts.
ยท Perform predictive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment
ยท Emergency repairs
ยท Precision alignment
ยท Repair and replace parts/components
ยท Safety oriented
ยท Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Skills
  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements
  • Critical Thinking
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts
  • Read diagrams, schematics and service manuals
  • Operate rigging equipment
