Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various manufacturing environments. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications.

·         Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on machinery, including bearings, gears, and conveyors.

·         Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.

·         Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper alignment and fit of parts.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

·         Work collaboratively with other team members, including welders, machinists, and engineers.

·         Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

·         Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

·         Provide emergency repair services to minimize downtime for clients.

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

·         Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
