Job description

CTR Group is seeking a Millwright for an Industrial Plant in the Strasburg, VA area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring! A Contract Position for 60 - 90 days.

SUMMARY:

This temporary assignment will be based onsite at the plant in Strasburg, VA, will start as soon as possible, and will last approximately 60-90 days.

The Millwright will install, assemble, align, and commission industrial machinery and equipment according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications. The millwright will perform equipment layout, rigging, leveling, shaft alignment, and mechanical connections to ensure safe and efficient operation. The millwright will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and plant management during new equipment installations while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree or similar level of training and education
  • 4 years of experience as a Millwright in the Machinery Industry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical, mechanical drawings
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
