Position Description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying overhead crane systems.
  • Perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment at customer owned facilities such as steel mills, auto manufacturing plants, foundries, large machine builders and steel processing facilities.
  • Work independently, or as part of a crew, to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities.
  • Identify needed parts, repair procedures, communicate with the customer, interface with our engineering department, and perform the repair.
  • Responsible for documentation of hours, services performed, writing service acknowledgements, and working with computers.
  • You will be trained to perform your duties in compliance with NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection requirements.
  • Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power is necessary.
  • You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar Military Experience.
  • Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience as an ironworker, millwright or facilities maintenance is preferred.
  • Team approach to problem solving.
  • Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work at customers facilities including the extreme elements indoor and outdoor.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
  • Travel Required.
  • Opportunity for extensive travel.
  • Eligible to work various shifts.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Work in accordance with OSHA, CMAA, ANSI, ASME, AWS, and other applications.
