Transco Northwest Inc. has been in business for 50 years supplying material handling systems across a wide spectrum of industrial applications.
Our in-depth knowledge of bulk handling systems provides expertise in design & operation and offers competitively priced well-constructed equipment which is tailor-made to meet our customer's specifications.
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and material handling equipment. This role is critical to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems in demanding environments such as manufacturing plants, and bulk material.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in material handling systems.
  • Perform precision measurements, alignments, and balancing of equipment.
  • Replace bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
  • Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or apprenticeship preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with conveyors and bulk material handling systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, confined spaces).
  • Must have valid driver’s license and proof to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in frac sand, mining, aggregates, or similar heavy industrial environments.
