Job Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Strategy: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, anticipating potential risks and establishing mitigation strategies before they impact the project timeline or budget.

High-Level Execution & Oversight: Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation to closing. Coordinate all project resources, including internal crews, subcontractors, and material suppliers, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with the project schedule. Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with plans, and ensure Trimerge’s standards for excellence are met.

Advanced Planning & Coordination: Expertly interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and contract documents. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Coordinate daily with the Foremen, Site Supervisors, and Division Managers to ensure seamless execution.

Production & Milestone Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking critical milestones and deliverables. Ensure the project stays on schedule by managing overall productivity, identifying critical path issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Quality Assurance & Control: Enforce Trimerge’s standards for excellence across all project phases. Implement rigorous quality control procedures and perform regular inspections to ensure all installations, particularly high-end finishes and industrial-grade applications, are defect-free and strictly meet client specifications without rework.

Safety Management & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, company safety protocols, and any specific client or site safety requirements for the entire project team and all subcontractors. Conduct regular safety audits.

Problem Solving & Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, clients, architects, engineers, and sub-contractors. Proactively identify and resolve site issues, change orders, and conflicts, proposing practical, efficient solutions to keep the project moving forward. Maintain clear, transparent, and consistent communication with all stakeholders.

Material & Budget Management: Manage project budgets, tracking all costs and expenditures. Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices. Monitor site inventory, verify material deliveries, and implement strategies to minimize waste and ensure efficient material management.


Job Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of proven project management experience, specifically within the commercial and industrial construction sectors. Previous experience in a supervisory, lead, or estimator role is highly desirable.

Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of commercial and industrial construction materials, methods, and tools. Demonstrated expertise across various construction phases, from selective demolition to rough framing, specialized equipment installation, and high-end finish work (millwork, casework, hardware, specialized coatings).

Blueprint Proficiency: Advanced ability to read and interpret complex commercial and industrial construction blueprints, architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and contract documents is mandatory.

Math & Analysis: Superior measurement, construction math, and analytical skills for complex planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Leadership Skills: Ability to build respect, resolve complex conflicts, negotiate effectively, and motivate diverse teams under tight deadlines and budgets. Strong client-facing skills are critical.

Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of job site safety requirements; OSHA 30 certification is required (OSHA 10 or equivalent is a plus).

Physical Requirements: Ability to safely navigate active construction sites and perform site visits, recognizing standard site conditions and hazards.

Travel: While primarily office or site-based depending on current projects, willingness and ability to travel to project locations as required by the company and project needs.
