Position Summary


As a Production Drafter, you will create detailed shop drawings and technical documentation that serve as the foundation for our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD drafting skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for transforming design concepts into buildable realities.

Your drawings will guide production teams in creating everything from retail signage and displays to custom millwork and architectural décor. Success in this role requires precision, problem-solving, and collaboration across design, engineering, and production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AutoCAD shop drawings from architectural elevations, renderings, and site surveys.
  • Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and project leads to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Prepare drawings for retail signage, store fixtures, millwork, and décor installations.
  • Resolve drawing or product issues while maintaining documentation accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • AutoCAD certification in mechanical, architectural, or engineering drafting (required).
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience with retail millwork drafting, cabinetry, or construction drawings a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
