We are currently seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead and develop our Customer Service team in Bangor, Maine. What You’ll Be Responsible For

As Customer Service Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the Customer Service department while helping drive service excellence across multiple manufacturing locations.

You will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Customer Service team
  • Create a positive, accountable, and customer-focused team culture
  • Manage escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
  • Partner closely with Operations, Production, Scheduling, Shipping, and Sales to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Monitor customer orders from entry through shipment to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and improve responsiveness
  • Develop and track KPIs, scorecards, and service metrics to support business goals
  • Support employee development, training, succession planning, and team recognition initiatives
  • Help improve communication and collaboration across departments and facilities
  • Play a key role in supporting strategic customer relationships and long-term business growth
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong leadership skills with manufacturing customer service experience and a passion for building teams.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience leading Customer Service, Account Management, Inside Sales Support, or Order Management teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with production, operations, scheduling, and logistics teams
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • ERP experience (Macola, Visual, or similar systems preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel and standard business systems
