Job description

ROLE: Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company, looking for full-time, CDL A OTR drivers based out of Lynden, WA. We haul our doors from Lynden to the states in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, and beyond at times, and bring all types of freight back to Northwest in 53ft dry vans. Our OTR loads are mostly no touch. Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt and Volvo tractors.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:.

  • OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
  • These lanes require driver to be gone 10-11 days and one weekend including 34 hour reset. Home every other weekend in most cases. Longer road time is available to those drivers that would like to be gone longer

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Competitive hourly wages - $74K - $85K annually - based on 50-60 hours/week
  • Steady work throughout the year
  • Class A Drivers are paid while loading and unloading
  • Overtime is paid for all hours worked in a week over 40
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus; Up to $400.00, Eligible on the first full quarter, following the 90 day probation period.
  • Gold Star Bonus; annual bonus of $400.00, Eligible after one full year of employment.
  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance plans available
  • 401-K retirement plan is available with company contributions after 1 full year of employment.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving record.
  • Physically able and willing to chain up, open hood of truck, and get in and out of truck regularly.
  • OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
  • Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
  • Must have good customer service skills, and the ability to represent our Company well to the public.
