Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Millwork and Cabinetry Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and project management within the millwork and cabinetry industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications to accurately estimate materials, labor, and other project costs

- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates

- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing

- Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients

- Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost updates

- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in estimates

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market pricing to ensure competitive bids

- Assist with project management duties as needed, such as scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates and projects

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating millwork and cabinetry projects

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques

- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
