Job description


Primary Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day feed mill tasks; complete tasks as assigned. May help in assisting the Panel Operator during production time. Keep the Feed Mill operational by clear communication and always use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task. Responsible for compliance to all company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.This position is for the second shift. Hours are 3PM to 11PM, with overtime available. You may be asked to help cover before or after shifts in the result of an illness, so scheduling flexibility is a must.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
  2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
  3. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
  4. Completes equipment set-ups in accordance with specifications and quality procedures.
  5. Adheres to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) paying special attention to safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0 - 2 years' relevant experience.
  • On-the-job training which includes forklift and skid steer training.
