Job Summary:
The Housekeeping position at the Pounding Mill VA Hotel individual contributor role. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for all guests. This role requires a hard-working individual with attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, ensuring all rooms are up to company and industry standards.
- Change linens, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and replenish amenities as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, addressing any concerns and rectifying issues to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Assist in laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage rooms and supply closets.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, especially during peak seasons.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate parties.
- Attend training and meetings as required by VP Management to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry is preferred.
