JOB SUMMARY

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for a Batching Operator team member to perform an array of functions including working closely with all other members of the processing team and performing all tasks necessary to prepare and deliver product with the highest safety and quality for processing and packaging. Process Operator will be responsible for coordinating with QA personnel regarding correct ingredients and formulations prior to batching, coordinating the delivery of ingredients for batching, and set up/batch all products according to formula while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments to insure smooth operation of facility.

SCHEDULE: 2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule

Night Shift Schedule 6pm-6:30am

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months related experience and or training required.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
  • Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
  • Must be ableto regularly lift 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
