Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote – United States

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Military Writing Specialists to support an AI-focused project involving military and federal documentation. You will create, review, and evaluate reports and written materials while applying authentic military writing standards and DoD procedures.

No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create military and federal reports, summaries, and executive updates.
  • Develop high-quality reference responses for AI training.
  • Create grading rubrics based on military and federal writing standards.
  • Review AI-generated reports for accuracy, clarity, tone, and compliance.
  • Work with documents such as WARs, SITREPs, AARs, decision briefs, and memoranda.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback on reporting quality.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts on military terminology and reporting practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant US DoD or military experience in reporting or staff writing.
  • Experience creating WARs, SITREPs, AARs, or similar military reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DoD procedures, federal documentation standards, and compliance practices.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and official military/federal documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
